Morrie Interview

Although Morrie didn't look quite as I had pictured him in the book, he still fits the description perfectly. I found it amazing that he was so upbeat and excited about life even though he had less than a year to live. If we weren't reading the book right now I honestly would have never guessed by looking at him that he had such a serious disease and that his body was slowly shutting down. Until it actually shows him in the wheelchair and shows how small his legs had gotten, he seems like a happy old man doing an interview.
I knew that the book was a true story and everything, but the interview really made it come to life and show me that everything i'm reading is and was real. It would actually have been really cool to meet him and talk to him in person. A person such as Morrie who has that much energy about life and doesn't let things bring him down could really change your life.

  1. Your page is a little scary and violent. Yikes!! :)
You make a great point here Andrew (upbeat and positive) but I think Morrie saw it as simply having two options. A.) get up, cry about it, rage and blame and hate everyday or B.) celebrate his life with his family and others so that he could get the most out of everyday he had left. I only hope that all of us would be able to be that person if put in similar circumstance. I hope I could.
